This festival is held in November around the Bird Village situated in the estuary of the Geumgang River (bird sanctuary), to which some 300,000 birds of about 50 rare species including natural monuments flock to. Programs include the International Migratory Bird Symposium, silver grass trail experience, special exhibition of Geumgang River estuary, youth presentation of creative experience activities, documentary photography lecture, as well as the one-day course, 2-day migratory bird journey course and Yubudo cheer-on trip, etc..
