Seocheon-gun is situated at the midpoint of the west coast of Republic of Korea and in the southernmost region of Chungcheongnam-do.

It also boasts outstanding cultural heritage such as the Gibeolpo culture, which has been passed on since the Baekje period, as well as the cultural assets that blend beautifully with the modern architectural structures.
