The National Institute of Ecology is a premier ecological research, exhibition and education space, where you can learn about the five major climates of the world such as tropical, desert, Mediterranean, temperate and polar climates as well as the flora and fauna that are present in these regions. The National Institute of Ecology has been leading the ecological research in Korea and the world as a means to boost the national competitiveness, and it serves as a place of learning and hands-on experience in regard to ecology and ecosystems. Through these efforts, the ultimate objective is to contribute to environmental protection and preservation and to promote environmental awareness.
