Cheonbangsan is the most well-known mountain in Seocheon that covers the areas of Pangyo-myeon, Munsan-myeon and Sicho-myeon of Seocheon-gun. It appears welcoming as its terrains are neither rugged nor rough. This sacred mountain has 7 peaks on its east, west and south, and it offers a refreshing unobstructed view toward the east, south and north.

There are peaks on the left and right sides of the peak of Cheonbangsan Mountain and five more peaks on its south. Because it is surrounded by multiple summits like a folding screen, there is a sense of coziness here, and it also feels refreshing to be here as it offers an unobstructed view in the northwest and northeast directions (and in the opposite directions). It overlooks the lower mountains as well as rustic villages, vast stretches of rice paddies and reservoirs, which harmoniously create a picturesque scenery.
